If you’re looking to decorate your home on a budget, DIY is the way to go.

Using items from Amazon or Dollar Tree you can create these stunning faux brass candle holders for a fraction of the Pottery Barn price.

Place these candle holders on your mantle or on the dining room for a warm and inviting home vibe.

Supplies:

  1. One Floral Foam Cone (should be about 6 inches)
  2. One Small Foam Cone
  3. Gold Metallic Spray Paint
  4. Hot Glue Gun
  5. Small Glass Dessert Bowls

Instructions:

Using hot glue, add a good amount to the top of the cone (the large one was flat on the top the small one I had to cut the top point off to make it flat) and then place the small glass bowl on top.

Press firmly so that it adheres. I held it in place for about a minute to make sure it was secure.

In a well ventilated area, spray paint it lightly.

If you spray paint too heavy it will melt the Styrofoam.

I did two light coats and allowed time to dry. I did it outside on a day that had light wind and keep the spray paint can at least a foot away when spraying so it wouldn’t melt the cone.
