This footed bowl can be placed on a shelf to hold potpourri or hold a plant that spills over the side. We placed ours on our entry table to hold keys and sunglasses.

Supplies:

bowl, paint, glass, glue gun
  1. Beer Pint Glass (I had one on hand so I used that)
  2. Hot Glue (for a stronger hold I would use E6000)
  3. Copper Krylon Spray Paint
  4. Large Plastic Bowl from Dollar Tree (I got mine in the floral section)

Instructions:

Start by applying some hot glue (or E6000) to the bottom of the glass

Then press the plastic bowl firmly on the top of the bottom of the glass.

I let mine dry for about an hour to make sure it was firmly on the glass.

You might want to add a little weight on top of the bowl in the center where the bowl and glass meet to get it to adhere better

Next apply 2 coats of the copper spray paint allowing time to dry in between.

I spray painted the bowl upside down and then flipped it over to paint the inside later.
