A lot of neat decorating and simple DIY ideas but I have to say a resounding NO,NO, NO, to artificial flowers anywhere in the house. You just can’t turn tacky into elegant or even likeable . I am a senior so once upon a time, artificial flowers were in vogue but I never liked them! If I did these activities, I would definitely upgrade flowers to silk or natural materials. Spend more for a lovely looking craft as you are not changing the flowers every month. I DO use artificial flowers in arrangements in my outdoor deck rail planters. I am in a wheelchair and it saves me from having to attend to watering and replanting every year. I just remove them in the fall, give them a good water (hose) cleaning and store them for the winter!
